Aliens – Fireteam Elite now available! Players can join other players in co-op to have a blast through the Aliens universe. Players will have the option to choose from five classes in order to complete Aliens: Fireteam Elite’s Horde Mode and campaigns.

Aliens Fireteam Elite‘s classes include Doc, Demolisher Gunner, Technician and Recon. To unlock the Recon class, though, players will need to beat the campaign first. Each class comes with a “skill tree” that allows them to customize their abilities. They also have some abilities they can use. But, as many people load up the game the big question is: Which class is the best?

Fireteam Elite Classes for Aliens – The Best of the Best

It shouldn’t surprise that Aliens: Fireteam Elite revolves around constantly destroying enemies. Therefore, the Gunner and Demolisher are both top-tier classes. Each squad should have at least one, but they are all welcome to both.

The Demolisher class is the best in Aliens: Fireteam Elite. It can use its heavy weapon to kill mobs and also has a high damage output that can take out large enemy spawns. It comes with rockets to take out large groups of enemies, and an ability that pushes them away from the Demolisher. This class is all about doing tons of damage and having plenty of ammo for heavy weaponry. Its biggest problem is mobility and ammo reserve, but the second ability makes this a much more manageable issue.

The Gunner can do some serious damage by itself using close-quarter weapons and assault rifles. The Gunner comes equipped with a fraggrenade, which can break up small clusters of enemies and boost DPS for all members of the squad. It’s not as powerful as the Demolisher but can still be a useful class and aid allies.

Aliens: Fireteam Elite Classes-The Second Tier Classes

The Technician, Recon and Doc classes are now in a second tier. The Doc is a good choice for these classes, but players will need to adapt their play style. Aliens: Fireteam Elite is lacking in many key elements such as crowd control, damage, and other important gameplay aspects. Its Trauma Station is the doc’s redeeming feature, which allows it throw down an AoE heal.

Although it can’t be recharged quickly and doesn’t heal as fast, it is often the most reliable element in battle. Due to the nature of the Xenomorphs and other enemies, it can be really hard to get heals off in battle, and the Trauma Station helps alleviate that. While players shouldn’t expect to cause a lot of damage, they may be able keep their teammates involved in the action.

Aliens: Fireteam Elite‘s Technician class is the best when it comes to controlling crowds, but it has to be played carefully. Turrets deal damage along a line of sight, aggroting enemies and making it difficult for players to choose their lanes and defend their own turret. The Technician’s ability, Charged Coils, slows down enemies and increases the control element. The Technician can be a great support choice, as it has some passive buffs for squad members.

The Recon class is a third support class that’s just as effective, if not more, than the Technician. The drone is its greatest benefit. It can scan enemies, which allows it to identify their origins. This ability grants you lifesteal, boosts your defense, and refills your ammo.
