After Capcom’s recent survey asking players if they wanted this feature in the PC version of Monster Hunter Rise, hopes were high. Capcom heard the people, and now it isn’t happening.

Monster Hunter Publisher announced the news via Twitter, stating that it was not possible to implement at the moment.

Tweet:

“Unfortunately, we were unable to implement this feature after we looked into it during the development process. We appreciate your support and feedback as always.

Capcom did not explain the decision and the responses to the announcement were mixed emotions. Capcom was asked by fans if they wanted the feature and then turned around to say that it was not possible.

There are many factors that could influence the decision. These include stability, how the game was built on Switch and other factors. Monster Hunter World does not have this feature.

Despite this, Rise has sold more than 7,000,000 copies on Switch, so there won’t be any shortage of players once it launches on PC.
