The Legion Timewalking Mage Tower is almost ready for PTR Testing
Although the public test realm 9.1.5 has seen minor adjustments over the past two weeks, many of the new features were tested for the month. However, it was missing the Timewalking Mage Tower.
Many players wondered if the Mage Tower would make it through the testing phase of PTR. Blizzard might want to keep the Challenge of it for launch. However, WoW Developer Zahko today confirmed that it is “getting closer” to going live on the 9.1.5 PTR.
This week will see the Mage Tower go live, along with other changes to the Infernal Legislin Mythic+ affix and rewards from the dungeons.
Legion Timewalking Mage Tower Almost Ready For PTR Testing
The Mage Tower will be available for testing once patch 9.1.5 is complete. A release date should follow soon thereafter.
Friday, 15th, marks six weeks since the start of the 9.1.5 PTR. This is the average testing schedule of a patch. We can expect to see a release date for the Mage Tower, but next week is also a strong candidate.
The Legion expansion introduced the Mage Tower. It was a unique feature that posed a challenge to players based upon their class and specialization. This rewarded them with Artifact skins that are no longer available.
The Mage Tower’s new version will offer its own rewards. It will scale players to the same power levels in order to maintain the system’s longevity.
