Zach Galifianakis Jokes His Kids Think He’s A Librarian Not An Actor

Zach Galifianakis can’t forget his involvement in The Hangover franchise. He jokes that he has told his children he is a librarian, not an actor. The comedy The Hangover was a huge success. It earned over $467 million at the worldwide box office and received almost universal praise from critics. The movie would be followed by two sequels: The Hangover Part II (part II) and The Hangover Part III (part III). These movies largely stayed true to the original format.
Galifianakis plays the role of Alan, a socially inept future brother-in-law who acts erratically, childishly, and is portrayed by Galifianakis. To make the night memorable, Alan does drugs on the three members of his “wolf pack.” However, as one can imagine, his plan goes wrong, and he and the rest of the group must relive the events from the previous night to find Doug. The film contains profanity, drugs, and alcohol, as well as sex. It is not recommended for children, however funny it may seem.

Galifianakis shared his creative approach to keeping his children ignorant about his role in R-rated comedy with ET. Galifianakis claims that his sons don’t know what he does for a living. The comedian laughs that his children think he’s a librarian. They don’t even know. He says that his children think he is an “assistant librarian” rather than an actor. Below, you can read more about Galifianakis’ comments to ET:

Galifianakis has a personal “wolf pack,” consisting of two boys aged 4 and 7, and Quinn Lundberg, his wife of nine-year. He and his wife forbid their children to see The Hangover films. Galifianakis jokes that “they will never know about it.” The actor will show his children the films once his children are old enough. He points out that it is “tricky” and that the children need to mature before seeing the movie.

Understandably, Galifianakis is nervous about showing his children The Hangover movies. However, it’s funny that his children believe he’s an actor and not a librarian. Galifianakis has appeared in many TV specials and films as well as in big-budget Hollywood movies. Galifianakis has also won multiple nominations and awards for his roles. Galifianakis is funny, but it’s also fascinating to imagine the comedian as an author in another life.

The Hangover is about the mystery of what happened on the night before Phil (Bradley Cooper), Stu(Ed Helms), and Alan (Zach Galifianakis) woke up to a colossal mess at a Las Vegas hotel. But what is the timeline of events for Doug’s stag party? It is possible to reconstruct the mystery of the massive bachelor party, which was held for the fourth friend who disappeared.

The Hangover received a positive response from critics and fans. Two sequels followed it. It also became the highest-grossing live-action comedy series of all time. Despite being an original concept with no sci-fi and fantasy elements and a relatively untested cast of actors, it achieved a high level of success. It made Cooper a movie star and helped Todd Phillips become a household name in Hollywood. He created the path to the film that would eventually become the highest-grossing R-rated film with Joker, ten years after The Hangover.
The Hangover’s big surprises succeed in turning the situation around. The trio runs into increasingly chaotic consequences of their actions the night before. They find a random baby or a tiger and a naked Chinese man inside a car trunk. Although Doug (Justin Bartha) is the focus of their attention, any clue as to what the next step should have helped them identify where he is before they begin the wedding ceremony. Their drunken adventures have far more consequences than their memories. The end credits show photographic evidence of their missteps.
