ELDEN RING BOOSSES – HERE ARE THE BOSSES RECOVERED SO FAR
Bosses make a highlight of any soulslike title. Elden Ring will likely have many big baddies we will have to face, and most likely get repeatedly killed by.
Elden Ring’s bosses are available in both the open world as well as inside dungeons. It was clear from the gameplay preview that they still sport imaginative designs even when dealing with a large dragon. However, their attacks are very heavy and it is evident that we are fighting powerful characters that live in the Lands Between.
Although the full Elden Ring Boss list is still not revealed, the three shown in the gameplay preview starting November 2021 are impressive and have their own moves that players will need to master and adapt.
Big Grey Dragon
Although it is not the official name of the dragon and the boss is not named, the music and moves that the Tarnished uses to battle the giant dragon along with its size and variety, suggest that this is not a regular enemy. The dragon appears to be unafraid of the player’s character as it swoops in and attacks in melee using its huge claws, mouth and fiery breath. The Elden Ring boss is the one that players can fight while riding on horseback.
This knight, who was not given an official title by the Elden Ring, guards one of the game’s forests. He rides on horseback and is covered in armor made from bone-like material. A large, deformed shield and mace are his weapons of choice. He can also cast spells that summon lightning pillars or rain magical arrows across a large area. His attacks can be accompanied by some particle effects when he is angry. This is good news for those who love shiny lights and explosions.
Godric the Golden
Godric the Golden, the ruler of Stormveil Castle and one of Elden Rings’ dungeons is an avid collector of arms. He stands behind a door that looks like it is covered in golden fog and wields both a large, shiny golden axe as well as a smaller, more subtle axe. He is agile, even though his other arms seem to be going to waste. Later in the fight, he replaces his main arm by a dragon head that shoots fire at his enemies.
These are likely to be far removed from Elden Ring bosses. We expect to learn more about them during the launch period. We are still waiting for more information, but here’s what we know so far about the map as well as the characters.
