Festive Fervor at Call of Duty Vanguard
Armageddon — A new mode
New mode Armageddon, formerly known as Drop Zone, is all about Care Packages. Two teams will fight for control over a particular area of the map. Care Packages will continue dropping until they are collected. The zone moves, and the game begins again. Drop Zone has a slight twist that makes it impossible to earn points. You’ll only be able to do so by killing your teammates.
Shipment gets gift-wrapped
Shipment, a popular map, is being rebranded Shipmas to celebrate the holiday season. Shipman will feature giant gifts in place of containers and a thick snow layer covering the ground. Zombies will also be different as Der Anfang has a festive makeover. You’ll also notice changes in modes such as Hardpoint and Domination at the Gunbench.
Festive Fervor Bonuses – Available in Vanguard or Warzone
Find Six Elf Team Members
If that’s a thing, the Elf Team Six is looking for you. Are you able to find them before they find you? You’ll get match and killstreak points if you find them. They are small, highly-trained operatives.
Krampus is coming to town.
It would help if you were alert for those sneaky Elves, and there is a greater threat in Multiplayer matches. This year, the Alpine anti-Santa Krampus won’t be targeting children, but instead, he will target those with lower-than-impressive skills in COD Vanguard or Warzone Pacific. What is the lowest score? Terrible Hardpoint time Minimal Domination captures? Krampus may target you. Although you will be alerted to his presence, it is likely too late. He might be able or willing to let you go, but that won’t make it easy.
Rewarding and challenging new challenges
There will be plenty of goodies for you to enjoy in Vanguard or Warzone Pacific throughout the event, in the form of either new items to buy or earn. There are 12 Festive Days of Deals, so you don’t have to miss out on the chance to get those items that you’ve been aching for.
