Dark Souls: The Roleplaying Game Announced With Teaser Trailer

Dark Souls – The Roleplaying Game has been revealed with a teaser trailer. Steamforged Games is producing the game. This company is well-known for making board and card games that are based on popular video games.

Many franchises inspired demon’s Souls and the Dark Souls trilogy. The manga series Berserk was a big inspiration. The franchise was also inspired by fantasy tabletop RPGs, the most prominent being the Mind Flayer enemies in Demon’s Souls. The Tower of Latria is home to the Mind Flayers, squid-headed humanoids. They look almost exactly like the Mind Flayers of Dungeons & Dragons. These are similar cephalopod-Esque monsters who prey upon humanoids and eat their brains.

Groups of adventurers from all over the globe will soon explore the land of Lothric. The Steamforged Games Twitter account has posted a teaser trailer Dark Souls, The Roleplaying Game. The trailer shows a tabletop RPG die glowing in the bonfire. Although there is a link to Dark Souls The Roleplaying Game’s website, it is currently on a mailing list. It is not clear if the game will be crowdfunded or when it will be released. It’s a tabletop RPG, which can be sold in one book. There might not be any need for crowdfunding.

Steamforged Games is no stranger in the Dark Souls franchise. The company produces Dark Souls Board Game and various expansions that offer an excellent selection of minis. The company also produces Dark Souls The Card Game and its expansions. It’s not surprising that a tabletop RPG is the company’s next step. Steamforged also makes board games inspired by Devil May Cry and Horizon Zero Dawn, Monster Hunters, Ni No Kuni, Resident Evil, and Monster Hunter.

The Dark Souls series has the perfect setting for fantasy RPG campaigns. It is unclear whether the book will describe the events in the game or whether players will have the opportunity to experience them in the extensive lore of Dark Souls. The world of Dark Souls isn’t well-known for its complex character interactions. This makes the game more suitable for groups who love to explore dungeons or slay monsters. The future will reveal what new adventures await Dark Souls – The Roleplaying Game.
